Vicky Lawrence

An early stage performer at festivals at the age of three. Those early years developed the confidence to progress with teaching qualifications at Judith Hockaday College of Dance and Drama in ISTD Imperial Ballet, National, Tap and Modern disciplines. More recently Vicky has extended herself further into Acrobatic Arts bringing new skills to a wider group of dancers, many moving into professional roles, and is a fully qualified Personal Trainer.
Vicky has also played a vital role in supporting Kate in the development of WBSD from 2008 to become the principal Dance School in Wootton Bassett.

Kate Lawrence

Principal of the Dance School, Miss Kate joined Wootton Bassett branch of the Maureen Cockram School of Dance at age twelve continuing with dance training that led to her qualifications in ISTD Cecchetti Ballet, National, Greek, Modern and Tap. Kate then went on to inherit the Wootton Bassett branch following retirement of Miss Cockram in 1991. Since that date Kate has created what is now a very successful and expanding dance school that continues to teach the above which also provides the opportunity to take part in ISTD examinations.

Emily Brake

Emily started early dance training with the Classical Ballet Centre and later at the Judith Hockaday College of Dance and Drama where she qualified in ISTD Imperial Ballet, Tap and Modern. She joined our team in 2017 to teach our dancers Modern and Tap and has recently passed her ISTD Licentiate Modern. Emily is also a teacher at Fitzgraham Academy of Dance.

Frank Patt

Started teaching from the age of 16, currently auditioning for professional jobs within Dance & Musical Theatre. Frank is an aspiring professional choreographer wanting to expand her knowledge further. At the age of 16 Frank had her first ever debut in a touring musical | Mad On Her – 80’s Musical UK Tour | London, Liverpool, Manchester, Lake District | Working with a cast of West End stars and Kelsey-Beth Crossley from Emmerdale.
